My Story

Hi, I’m Kay! A.k.a. the face behind Voyamore. I’m a Torontonian turned Montrealer who’s a tech consultant by day but a complete travel junkie in my spare time. My biggest passion is to research, plan, and travel to new destinations where I can immerse myself in different cultures, explore new cuisines, and truly get a taste of the world.

When I first started traveling, I had a limited budget and would try to stretch my dollar in creative ways to save on flights, hotels, and other experiences. This led me to look for different ways to find cheap flights, plan unique flight routes (including open-jaw flights and cool layover options), and stay in nice hotels for less. Since then, my travel style has evolved a bit to include some more luxurious experiences as well, but I still constantly look for the next best travel deal. I’m happy to say I’ve had the privilege to travel to 30+ countries and 100+ major cities so far, sometimes getting to visit my favourite destinations a few times. 

Throughout the years, we’ve had many friends and family reach out and ask how we go on our trips and plan out these adventures (especially to 18 countries with a 2 year old!). After having many one-on-one conversations with others, my husband and I were one day discussing how it would be so much easier if I could redirect people to a website that posted travel deals, tips and tricks, and details about different travel destinations – until we realized we could create that! This is how Voyamore came to fruition: the goal was to create a clean and easy-to-navigate site that offers Canadian travel deals, provides travel inspo and tips & tricks, and shares our personal  experiences. After months of planning and design, I really hope you find it as useful and informative as we intend it to be for you. Cheers to voyaging more for less!
